I am what I am and that's all that I am. Who are you?
Edited on Wed May-04-05 10:08 AM by Modem Butterfly
I am a cynical 33 year-old woman who works too much.

I like good food and good wine.

I hate bars.

I hate crowds.

I come from a poor family so I hoard stuff just in case disaster happens. This also means that I hate spending money unless I absolutely have to, and I feel guilty on spending money on myself.

I love my man, I love my dogs, I love my new house, I love my boss but I hate my job.

I don't believe in god.

I do believe in being honest, but sometimes I'm so bluntly honest I'm rude.

I have no problem speaking my mind and if someone criticizes me for the manner or content I tend to really lay into them.

I have rescued four dogs and one cat and I secretly consider myself to be a little superior to people who don't rescue dogs.

I feel guilty about the above.

I think queer people rock.

I think conservative people suck.

I am a dorky 33 year-old who should probably work more.

Family is intensely important to me.

I am becoming more and more cynical about human nature.

Skin color, sexual preference, nationality, regionality, and gender don't concern me....but I have a real problem with ignorance.

I love the idea of my job, and many aspects of it, but hate what it seems to be turning into.

Music is as important to me as food and shelter.

I read all the time. I can't go anywhere without reading material. I even read when I am brushing my teeth.

I have rescued one dog and when she's gone, I will rescue another.

I believe in God.

I will always tell you how I feel about you, good or bad. This gets me into trouble.

I am very sentimental.

Sometimes I care too much.

4. Who I am
I'm a terrible slob, but a great cook.

I'm a voracious reader. Anything, everything, all the time.

I am painfully shy.

I hate crowds but love intense one on one conversations.

I believe in God and Goddess but mostly think of them as a metaphor.

I believe that social lies are necessary to get along, but I'm not good at telling them.

I'm so laid back I'm virtually comatose.

Queer people rock my world, but I've learned more from transgendered people than anyone else.

I'm a feminist.

I'm a pervert and proud of it.

I tend to speak before I think and it sometimes gets me in trouble.

I love animals and nature and luckily animals seem to love me too.

I can't stand bigots or hypocrites and try very hard to be neither, but of course I don't always succeed.

I'm becoming progressively disabled but still haven't figured out how to handle it with grace and courage. Maybe next year. I'll keep trying.

Khash.

5. Me:
A great mom, at least I think so.

a great wife, according to Big Guy.

I love to read because I love to learn.

The older I get, the less I like Crowds.

I love my music. Just not so loud these days.

I don't believe in God, but I am a good person.

I was shy, but that's over with now.

My sibling is gay. Has been for 30 years. I dont have a problem with that.

I am a small town girl in the big city. It's part of my charm.

I have no tolerance for sheer stupidity. Ignorance can be fixed.

I love my family, and would die protecting them.
