Need recommendations for children's books
I need a book for a low-level 3rd grade reader greatly interested in science, a book for a high-level 1st grader interested in science and "chapter" books, and a book for a 3 year old.

Something they can look through on an airplane trip would be beneficial.

Thanks!

1. One of my kids favorite books...
"Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" it's a nonsense book but very entertaining. A good book for the 3rd grader would be "Misty of Chincoteague" it's the true story of the wild ponys. If there are any girls my daughter loved the Babysitters Club little sister series, also there is "Saddle Tales" and "Pony Tales" for younger kids(both are series).Your friendly neighborhood bookstore should have a young readers section. Hope this helped.

2. How about "My Pet Goat"
I heard it's so enthralling that you'll forget about what's happening in the rest of the world!

5. Here are a few suggestions....
For the 3 year old, anything with dinosaurs should do just fine. DK puts out these cool dinosaur books that my kids just loved when they were three. I'd recommend this one:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1564587185/ref=wl_it_dp/103-7877592-8439822?%5Fencoding=UTF8&coliid=IY5SL5RUK64X7&v=glance&colid=1EZPK7LCBG1U3

The 3rd grader might like this one. It's whimsical and fun:

The 1st grader might enjoy:

Any of the Junie B. Jones series, or maybe the Magic School Bus series.
