5. They don't go out of their way to mess with you
but if they do stop you remember its "yes officer" and "no officer." Because they will put you in a world of hurt if you do not respect their authority.

7. Nope, no such thing
the sliding scale only applies to fines issued by a court (including criminal cases). Traffic offenses are like: 10 kph too fast = €30.
