7. it's right on the winamp playlist editor
over on the right where it should say something like "Misc" (user options may vary with skins), hold that down, a save option will appear.

What gets saved is just a text file, but in ".m3u " format, but you can open it in notepad. This is a great way to save different batches of music to match different moods, and for parties.

Although can I be honest with you... I really hate the new song from The Eagles. Something like repeating "there's a hole in the world tonight" about 400 times... :D

I just thought those pearly gates of retirement had started to open up! Kidding, but I hope they dispose of that song quick by releasing a better single... it just didn't do anything for me.

51. The BEST new CD you have never heard...
A3, "Exhile on Coldharbour Lane."

If you go to Amazon, there are used double-disks available...get that version. Disk 2 is all dance remixes. Just go read the reviews on Amazon...everyone who listens to this sweet, pretty, country, gospel, acid house music gets hooked. It is indescribable...an old John Prine cover, lots of alt country blues with gospel and house dance beats. Un-freakin' real.

(BTW, I have owned this since it came out in 1997, but one track became well know when it was picked up as the theme for HBO's "The Sopranos.")

If you want to help a brother (LOL), there is a direct link to the disk on my site (click NotBannedYet, below). Amazon sends a buck my may if you purchase. But don't let that stop you...find this disk any way you can. You will not be disappointed!

24. have you ever heard the song "amsterdam"
I threw away your greatest hits
You left them here the day you split
Your bass guitar and shaggs CD
Well they don't mean that much to me right now
I'm going through your things
These days, I'm changing all my strings
I'm gonna write you a letter
I'm gonna write you a book
I wanna see your reaction
I wanna see how it looks
>From way up on your cloud
Where you've been hiding out
Are you getting somewhere?
Or did you get lost in Amsterdam?
You won't get too far from me
believing everything you read
You're wasted in the great unknown
and I am getting ready to dispose
of all your vintage clothes
Your drugs and every secret code
I'm gonna write you a letter
I'm gonna write you a book
I wanna see your reaction
I wanna see how it looks
From way up on your cloud
Where you've been hiding out
Are you getting somewhere?
Or did you get lost in Amsterdam?
>From your red balloon you were
a super high tech jet fighter
Floating over planet earth
Come back down here, I'll show you where it hurts
Take this bitter pill
Is it easy to swallow?
I'm gonna write you a letter
I'm gonna write you a book
I wanna see your reaction
I wanna see how it looks
From way up on your cloud
You're never coming down
Are you getting somewhere?
Or did you get lost in Amsterdam?

They are like emo ish.

Just well-crafted pop rock tunes with great vocals. Lots of very catchy songs. I saw them live last summer and they were great.

43. Okay
I adore classical music mostly:
Haydn- my fav-the father of the symphony and string quartet!
Bach
Handel
especially the 20th c. "Modern" stuff:
Prokofiev and Shostakovitch
I also enjoy Opera; baroque and modern
I also love bluegrass:
The Del McCoury Band!!!!
Old Jazz (Armstrong, Billie, and Dizzy) and Boogie Woogie
Very innovative Hip Hop; a cool medium (very creative potential) but is getting formulatic, so I'm losing interest-much like pop.
As a child of the seventies, I STILL love QUEEN. My favorite album is "Sheer Heart Attack". I disliked their 80's stuff but am beginning to appreciate it.
My secret shame: Leslie Gore
One of my fav recordings is "Ziggy Stardust"-David Bowie
I love late 70's punk: Ramones/Sex Pistols/the Clash/the Damned
Old REM, Let's Active.
Of course Led Zeppelin.
Classic Soul–one of my favorite songs of all time is "Grapevine" by "Gladys Knight/Pips". Wow!!!!
On the flip side: I hate Britanny and all her commercial ilk. What the hell is that all about?
I looked at this list: I am surely insane!
