4 years ago Today, I met Mrs._Beastman

After a few brief encounters on Yahoo chat, she asked me if I would like to come over to her place for dinner and a trip to the drive-in. I didn't expect much; our phone coversations were pleasant, but nothing spectacular. When we met person-to-person, it was definitely "like" at first sight. I immediately went to work in the kitchen, chopping mushrooms for the dinner on the grill.
There were no uncomfortable pauses, no awkwardness, no shyness. I felt completely secure around her. We saw "The Mummy Returns" at the Mayfield Road Drive-In, and I have to confess, it really sucked. Doesn't matter though, because I got to hold her hand after I made a weak excuse about my hands being cold.

I didn't know there were still drive-in theaters!

That's what made it such a cool first date.

I was 17. I was on a date with a serious crush.

Actually, this coming Monday (May 9th) will be the 2-year anniversary of my first date with the Prophet. We had met in March of 2003 and had our official first date on May 9th. Felt like I knew him forever the day I met him. Now that we are planning a wedding for next spring, it feels like we'll be together forever. :loveya:
