4 Year Old Takes Grandma's Car For Joyride

A 4-year-old boy took his grandmother's car for a short joyride, then jumped clear before it slammed into parked cars in Swatara Twp. yesterday morning.

The boy, who lives in apartments behind the Thompson Institute in the 5600 block of Derry Street, suffered cuts and scrapes in the 11 a.m. crash, police said.

Police said the boy took the keys to the car and got it rolling down an embankment. He jumped out at the urging of his sister.
