5. Clinton, though I did meet Gorbachev
Standing on a street corner at lunch one day in Manhattan, who comes walking by (with a couple of real BIG bodyguards) but Mikhael Gorbachev. I walked up and shook his hand, told him thanks.

He may have only turned out the lights on the way out, but he did change the world without killing millions in the process, and that deserves some appreciation
