My uncle passed away...
:thumbsdown:

It was expected, but still. It happened alot faster than was exepected.

He was 52. Such a cool guy. :(

However, this morning I have been having a lot of happy memories about canoe trips with the family and stuff. He was a guy it was impossible not to have fun around.

Here's to ya. :toast:

We'll miss ya. Hope you're in a batter place.

I remember when he and I both worked for my dad... sometimes my dad would turn us loose on a job site all day while he left to go do other stuff.

We operated heavy equipment, he in one machine, I in another... and I remember we'd harass each other over the CB radio....

I also remember he had a different nickname for me every time he saw me.. (i'm his young nephew, 23 years younger)

Or the way he would abolutely butcher the lyrics to songs because he didn't know them.. yet sing his heart out anyway...

11. You have my sympathies.
I lost my uncle last July to cancer. He was only 60, and he rightfully should have had a lot of years left. Just keep thinking about all the good memories you've had with him. It does help a LOT.
