Another overnight show request thread...

For those who have listened, you know I play everything. For those who haven't, seriously, I play EVERYTHING.

Any requests? If I can't get them on tonight, I will on tomorrow night's show..

I've got some Negitiveland around here; what CD is that on?

I just played "We're All Boat People" by Art the other night; that'll go well with it..

I've never heard of Current 93; what do they sound like?

also on there is Christianity Is Stupid I double dare you to play that! Over The Hiccups is sweet and very funny - I've never met anyone who didn't enjoy it.

Current 93 varies from industrial to melodic renditions of traditional/medieval songs. Earth Covers Earth is the latter, melodic and haunting. From the album of the same name.

Earth Covers Earth and Swastikas For Noddy. Earth is traditional stuff and kinda quiet and cool, Swastikas varies from one extreme to the other.

6. My fave is the album Current 93 did with Death in June.

Don't bother looking in the used store, though...it's quite hard-to-find.

I also like "Lucifer over London" (if that's what it's called with the covers of "Sad Go Round" and "Summer of Love".

But I generally don't care for Current 93; I prefer David Tibet's collaborations with other people (Nurse With Wound, for example).

I have a pal who slept with Tibet in London. She said it was just "fuckin' really odd". Surprise.

9. Thunder Perfect Mind

One CD by Current 93 another by Nurse With Wound. Interesting to compare and contrast, given that the collabaration is so incestuous it's sometimes difficult to separate them. And yet different....

Tibet's so all over the place, though.... Still I prefer Current 93 to Nurse With Wound.

An incredible piece of music. If you can't find it, I can send you the MP3 I burned off the 12" single, and the flipside "A Short Dip in the Glory Hole", which may be even better than "Brained".
