man...Life is weird

I got a call today from the woman who is running against my state's Democratic Governor (Janet "The Bomb" Napolitano) as a Republican. She asked me a few questions about running for office as a young woman (we are both 25) against a well known (in my case VERY disliked) office holder. During the conversation, we realized we went to the same high school and that we knew each other. What a small world.

I did tell her that she is going to lose by the same numbers that Stu Starkey did because Janet is after all the best and coolest Governor ever.

You and my sister were at ASU at the same time in the same program; I graduated from the same program the year before you started.... and if you did speech and debate in HS, I probably judged you or someone from your school.

Fortunately, Sis and I have no interest in unseating the good Gov, not to mention we've left the state.

Amazing how this works, isn't it?
