I was just wondering... I mean, "remember the Sabbath" etc, but.... can't God hear you no matter if you pray aloud, or even in your head while at work? Just curious about the mechanics of some sort of punishment in the afterlife if you don't go somewhere on a certain day while you're alive. Just doesn't make sense to me for some reason, that's all.

The emotional vibes in a community of worship and prayer and hymn singing are marvelous, especially on those Sundays when everything clicks. I go because I want to, not because God's going to send me to a place where I'll never need my snowboots.

Besides, you obviously don't know what *modern liberal*Christians believe if you think that we think that God sends people to hell for skipping church. Or even if you think that we think that God sends all non-Christians to hell.
