Never again I tell ya. I'd rather be naturally depressed.

2. How very strange....I did Lexapro for about 6 months and it kept me
together, basically. I've since been able to quit anti-depressants altogether, for the last year, but I still have 2/3 of a prescription ready in case I need it.

3. Maybe Lexapro wasn't for you. It took me a while to get something
that worked.

I have depression in my family. We've had some suicides. I've decided that I'd rather be alive than dead.

Be sure tht it is really depression and a longer term type of situation before going the prescription route.

5. For me, they don't work. I feel over medicated.
I'm off sugar, flour and oil and eating whole grains. I feel better. It's a personal choice. Lexapro was like being on qualudes for me. Prozac makes me homicidal and Imipramine made me bloat up like a dirigible.
