Tonight at the Miz t.'s Bed 'N Breakfast and Kajun Kitchen.
Ho-made.
Refritos and Mexican (Spanish) rice and "I was gonna make a flan but I don't have enough eggs."
Poblano chiles.
Just a leetle bite to 'em.

3. Yesterday, I made a down-home Southern dinner.
Pork and beef meatloaf (shh... don't tell dolo amber there were 2 kinds of meat) with pan gravy, collards, and black-eyed peas. Delicious, I must say.

Not bad for an Ohio boy.

7. Chile Verde, pinto beans, fresh avocado
trader Joe's chile verde spiced with home grown ripe jalapenos. skipped the Mex rice tonite. Plenty of leftovers, lotsa tortillas
