4. Other than a bigamist Irish drunk, mine were pretty much upright citizens.

I did have an uncle though, who did time in the Big House for receiving stolon goods (transporting stolen farm equipment with his truck). He was also a womanizer so I figured he got the scoundrel gene from the Irish bigamist.

7. My mom's side is good, old fashion farmers.

But my dad's side is much more interesting.
Related to Jessie James. One of dad's ancestors was the first horse thief hung in America.
And there is a very interesting story about one of my evil ancestors that was a slave ship captain who's ship disappeared at sea & the story was told that he was killed by the ghost of a slave he had killed. Karma

ship, any ship, in Glasgow to get away from the sheriff. That's how we got here.

9. My long line includes Poles and Russians on my father's side, and

god knows what on my mother's side -- probably Swedes, Irish, and Germans.

I joke about being from a long and distinguished line of poor white trash, but the only truth in that is that we were poor, and white, and my mom and her family were trashy. :shrug:
