If you advocate for a candidate, you can't be tax-deductible. Period.

8. Two things
If their deductions are tax-deductibe, they are probably claiming 501(c)3 status. Check that.

Then look for posts, articles, etc. that advocate for one candidate or against another.

Then research which govt agency decides whether someone gets to be 501(c)3.

Go.
