I finished my essay!
I haven't been around much because I finally decided to go back to school after not being in school for almost 7 years. I'm majoring in business but am considering accounting. I'm trying to get the (associates) out of the way first and I'm not sure if I'll go for my BA but I'm definitely going to look into certification of some sort (be it accounting or bookkeeping).

My first class finished up in the middle of last month and I got an A in the course. I'm just about done with this class (a communications/college writing course) and had to write a persuasive essay on breaking the cycle of poverty. I learned a lot from my research, but man! does it feel good to be DONE with it!

Here's hoping for yet another A!

2. Thanks
Invigorating? Yes...but also very daunting. I don't see poverty being taken care of at all until our government can pull its collective head out of its own ass and stop giving corporate welfare out. TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy families) is not the answer either, but it helps out those who are really trying to get by. I don't think there is an answer, to be honest with you.

3. Well, I meant invigorating in the sense that it's something

you can really get your teeth into, though it probably is a difficult subject to grapple with, especially condensed into one paper. But how great to have it behind you!

5. Woops!
Boy I said a lot more than expected there, sorry. It's been on my mind. Definitely invigorating. I was able to choose my own topic, which helped a lot. At first I was going to do my paper on one of the chosen topics (outsourcing jobs), but I decided to go with poverty instead.

Thanks! :)
