but season's 3-5 are the absolute gold.

3. you can do them as they are yr 1, 2 so on

but as a late arrival to the greatness fo the simpsons - i got into them only a few years ago; seasons 4 & 5 seemed to me when the show hit its stride- homers foray into his own faith, the origins of the sideswhow bob/bart feud, last exit to springfield, duffless, and sweet seymour skinner's baadasssss song.
the bonus disks are good on some seasons worse on others- depends on your simpsons geek index on if u need to get them as well

4. As an afterthought to my first post,

If you're in a hurry to get to the funny stuff, seasons 4 and 5 are GOLD.

I know that's pretty much a repeat of what I said, but I really want to emphasize that. :D
