was empty except for us for the 10 minutes under the river, and i couldn't get to the next car or anything without getting right next to him. and when he saw the initial shocked look on my face, it made him waay too happy for 10 whole minutes. unless i closed my eyes, i could see him peripherially, workin it. bleech. boy, i wiped that look right off his face when the train door finally opened.

27. I was living here in Ann Arbor - a good 10 hour drive
It was after seeing Manhattan Murder Mystery. Not among his finest works, but it made me need to be in NY. We both had the next two days off from work, so we gassed up my car, picked out some tunes for the road, and set off.

That friend later turned out to be a complete psychopath, but at least we had some crazy fun times before I figured that out.

34. Yes, it's a funny story really.
We left the restaurant at the same time he did - he was wearing a Panavision jacket, which is what made us first notice him. Plus - David Lynch really looks like David Lynch, you know?

So we had been driving all night - no sleep, totally slap happy. We looked at each other and said - There's no way we're going to make it to the Guggenheim before it closes, so we might as well see what David Lynch does on a Sunday afternoon in the East Village! (it seemed to make sense at the time)

We followed him into the box office where he bought tickets to the Blue Man Group. Ducked behind cars when he stopped to look in shop windows...we were acting like total fools. After awhile the woman he was with started giving us the evil eye, so we called it quits.

About 10 minutes later, we're waiting to cross LaFayette and marveling at how stupid we had been to follow David Lynch around the Village. My friend Jhoanna says to me "Who do you think that ugly woman he had with him was?" I said "I dunno - she was certainly no Isabella Rossalini". And that's when I noticed that all the blood had drained out of Jhoanna's face. She was looking over my left shoulder....at David Lynch and that woman. He looked supremely amused. She did not. We bolted.

I still hold out hope that someday characters resembling Jhoanna and me will meet a nasty fate in one of his films. How cool would that be?

35. that's a good one, sometimes you have to stare! LOL!
quite a few years ago, i got an invite to a woody premiere. the one where he goes to hell? anyways, soon yi was yapping it up with dorothy strattens little sister- who ended up with peter bogdonovich, when she was a teen -- you know the whole star80 thing. it was really hard not to stare at the gals and then at their old wrinky rich husbands. and just think wtf, of course they must be good friends.
my friend never invited me to another premier, dammit, soon yi-- it's her fault --she was wearing a fluffy hooker boa and pink heels. it was her fault, wsn't it?

Soon Yi seems like a really complicated, not-so-nice person. Did you see the docu on Woody's life? Yowza. It's like his controlling, disapproving mother all over again.

Yes - it was Soon Yi's fault. When all else fails, blame it on the person sporting the fluffy hooker boa.

64. you can play all those instruments?
Wow.

Is the flugel horn really any different from a trumpet. I played one of those once and do not remember learning anything new to do so, only that it could hit lower notes than the trumpet.

I did not think of my trumpet lessons since that was through the school.

75. Flugel horn has the same keys as a trumpet
but the music is written for a French horn. Also, you have to relearn your ambitsure (and I know that I didn't spell that right but the spell check doesn't show up). to play the flugelhorn. Some prefer to use a French horn mouthpiece instead of the traditional mouthpiece (easier to tighten your lips for the high notes).

36. Here Are The Answers You Seek
Eggs - over medium. This means, don't overcook the yolk, but, at the same time, make sure there are none of the disgusting boogers left...COOK THE WHITES, man!!!

Lessons - Swimming and Skating (both ice skating and roller skating - with special emphasis on speed skating)

Steak - STILL MOOING!! Just tie that sucker to a plate and gimme a fork and knife!!

Most spontaneous thing - twice I moved cross-country on very little advance notice...once from Pennsylvania to Kentucky...and once from Texas to Pennsylvania.

Saesons, favorite to least favorite - Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter -- I FUCKING HATE WINTER!!!

Middle Name - Fox (no, I am not kidding!)

Coffee - lots of cream, no sugar.

Oldest possession - An 1842 penny that is in my coin collection.

One liquor the rest of my life - Beer, if that counts as a liquor. If not, then Tequila. Only if I still get to have BEER!

Go to bed and rise, my choice - Bed at 3AM, Rise at around 11AM-noon. Hate mornings. They suck.

Except in the winter when the sun set at about five. Without electricity and all by myself, there was not alot to do in the dark. So I went to bed about seven PM and got up at about 4 AM.
