Partisan buttnuzzling for patriotism

Army recruiting is down 42%.

Lurking nutdrainers... Sign the fuck up, sign up your children and grandchildren.

The Prez can put them to good use.

Recruiters are waiting by the phone.

1. I had an interesting conversation with a repub friend yesterday
Of course, voted for *, but was talking about how the military would be a good thing for her son, blah, blah, blah....BUT she won't let him sign up because there is a war on. I went postal. I almost yelled 'but it is okay for other people's children to die? Where is your conscience?'

Conversation took a downward turn after that.

4. Par for the course, baby

They talk about how WE ALL are stabbing the troops in the back by our opposition to Republican malfeaseance.

But when it's time to put their own flesh and blood on the line to support their professed values, we all find them lacking.

It's no mistake that many of the Dems in office are decorated Vets and most of the repugs are chickenhawks.

It's par for the course.

Everybody needs to look at this: http://www.awolbush.com/whoserved.html

3. Hmmmm I sense anger here
but I like "lurking nutdrainers" - sounds like some guys I know.....

Seriously though, the ones signing up obviously don't watch the news, otherwise they'd know their asses would be shipped to Iraq.

Help havocmom's crusade to stick it to pretend patriots who think slapping a ribbon on a car is taking care of their responsibilities to America. Join me in my fight against jingo-istas! Edited to add: wish I had a car just so I could put one of these on to talk back to all the yellow ribbons I see.
