1. Godiva, straight from London.
My friend brought it back to me. I think the reason it was so delicious was because she thought about me and purchased it for me.

5. Second the Godiva
Back in the day, we (my roommates and I) took turns every Friday night making a special dinner. My dessert was one small bar each of Godiva. This was in the '70s. And... that sucker cost over a dollar! Which would be about six bucks now. I really had to save. But man. Best ever.

6. I know what you mean. A Swiss friend just sent me a little box
as a thank you for my making her tapes of some programs she wanted to see. They're especially delicious.

Had some wonderful Belgian chocolates in a very touristy but fun area in Brussels. So smooth...not too sweet...mmmmm

the best chocolatey cookies in the world! My in-laws send over a care package of them from Australia every so often. How I wish they were sold in the US!!

8. Teuscher Dark Mint Chocolates
Their truffles are pretty sensational as well.

Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland

They had a store in an upscale shopping mall near my house, and I actually had to stay out of there for a couple of years because my choco habit got expensive :)
