Watermelon was ok, but cantelope, yum. That dog would do anything for a piece of cantelope. The dog's people gave the Lassie cantelope whenever they had any and the dog was really happy when the baby got old enough to eat it because she was always dropping pieces and the dog could eat them off the floor. The baby watched and watched and watched. One day when she was about 5 she finally asked her papa why the dog loved cantelope sooooo much. Her dad replied "it's a melon collie, baby".

Edited to add: forgot the most important part, why I wrote this. I couldn't think of how to make a joke about melon colon baby because it is too late and I need to go to bed.

... I was once in the army and have had twenty-three different jobs in my life and am living in the second Bush administration... I've definitely seen my share of assholes. And yours, up close and personal, would be one too many. :P

But there are still more than a few of us who open our hearts and our pocketbooks without concern over whether we're being a sucker, and I'd hope if you ever needed help you would bring your burdens to those of us who care about you.

Hopefully I won't need it, but I think it's humorous that people will complain about how the lounge reacts to trolls then post about a guy's life in GD like he won't be reading it.

he's a little nervous, suprise.....and he's hoping this man will agree to be his surgeon. he deserves a good one, and i know you guys move mountains with your vibes, so let's get to it.
if that doesn't work, i'll post the doc's fax number. nahh, i'll PM you with it.

I'm really way out of the loop on this issue.

And if we don't know how to handle money issues properly, we are all adults here, and we need to learn.

It is right and proper that a person requesting large sums of money account for that money in proper, legal fashion. No one is exempt from providing proper documentation when asking for charity. No one. We demand that the right be held accountable when soliciting for charity; indeed, David Duke was finally taken down because he made exaggerated claims for funds that turned out not to be based on fact. He took a tiny kernal of a claim -- that he was hurting for money -- and exaggerated it all out of proportion -- for instance, stating that he'd had to sell his house, without disclosing that he'd sold it for a healthy profit.

The people who said they cared about Andy did not care enough to help him get proper legal assistance when raising funds. Their huff and puff on the internet was about bragging about how much they cared. Their actions said they couldn't be bothered to protect him from possible severe legal harm -- even though every member of this site knew for a fact that he had a dangerous and irrational enemy eager to cause him trouble.

I would never solicit for funds without taking very basic steps to protect myself and my loved ones. If others don't care enough to do the same for their loved ones, that's fine, but they should not pretend it is because of any moral superiority.

diagnosis is crap. Many things could have been handled differently but they weren't due to lack of experience on the part of players.
