Who should win American Idol ?

Listed below in order of their performance last night.

IMO, it should be Bo, but have a funny feeling about the voting system that manipulated Constantine's early exit!

but whenever I flip by and just listen a bit I always think Bo sounds so great. The others don't even compare.

I've always been a fan - but he sealed the deal for me w/ his second song.

The second one was great too in an entirely different way, and he showed incredible guts and originality to sing a capella. Man, he was ON last night.

...of hundreds of other singers I've seen playing at local bars and honky-tonks. He seems like a nice enough fellow and all that but to me, he just sounds extremely ordinary.

On Edit: Vonzelle sings nice enough and with style but the Girl hits a LOT of notes off-key.
Trust me on this one....

I think that makes him less generic than you depict.

Vonzelle and Carrie are good singers but not stars. Bo, in my opinion, is a star. He has a voice but more than that, he has phrasing. That's what separates the "choir" from artists that matter. He's the best Idol has probably ever seen, well him and Fantasia. They have that special something that is hard to put a finger on, but it's there. I am not saying he will become a big star in his own right nor do I think he will rival the influence of his idols, Croche and Allman, but I think he stands out.

Carrie does great w/ the nasal pop country that's all too popular in my opinion. Vonzelle has shining moments but is still "in the box" w/ her phrasing.

I vote for Bo.

It's probably just from working with so many bands in the my past....
Frankly, There's most likely a lot of people on this forum who have been working Musicians in their Careers and have worked with people (both Men and Women) that would smoke anybody on American Idol.
But..You know..you have to be in the right place at the right time.

Part of my past was working for CBS as a studio Musician and Boy!..sometimes I'd see a person sing SO damn good and soulful that I just KNEW they had to break into the big-time...Sadly enough..I never heard of them again.

Again..I don't "Dis-Like" Bo...and if he wins, more power to him.
He's WAY better than a lot of the so-called stars out there..:)

Bo isn't bad, but I can go out on a Friday night and find a lot of Bo's singing in the clubs. He has really never showed a "range" either in my opinion.
I like Carrie. For no formal training, and just walking off of a farm, I believe she is the most marketable.

We'll know by 9:30 pm tonight who's going into the final two!

He definitely deserves to win. Vonzell is my second favorite.

I never thought Constantine was all that good, so I thought he deserved to leave early. He seemed pretty phony to me.

If only because we need a rocker Idol, for a change.

I think it was 53% of the AOL vote today too.....

He'll probably be voted off tonight! AND, I'll probably watch the Finale, to see Constantine come back and wiggle and smolder and ....ok, I'm done....whew :)

Of the three he is the most talented and experienced and ready for true stardom.

He's consistantly a treat for eyes and ears.

And I am flabbergasted at the voting. Granted, I didn't hear anyone until tonight, since I avoid this show like any artless medium because it drives me crazy....but of the three "singers", two of them are good, and one utterly sucks.

I can't believe America - well, no, actually I can - that America chose the sucky one, and voted off one of the good ones.

before the voting. The performance last night was more on par (awful) with all her others, which was amazing, because she did the same song that she had just done acceptably well (and it's hard to pull out even that compliment for her) the night before.

They all did poorly last night. But Bo and Vonzelle should have been the finalists.

something other than the treacley, cloying trill of young women who perform vocal pyrotechnics but whose ability to find and really give voice to notes is actually very weak.

...Bo has "it". If I were a record executive, I'd bank on his album doing much better.

So now, it's in the hands of the public, right? My daughter's in a NYC Grunge band, so Carrie real bores me in comparison.

Bo. Definitely. Carrie is my second choice, but her on-stage personality is sooo bland. I may be the only one, but I thought Vonzelle is just like any other R&B singer, just hitting high notes and doing some vocal pyrotechnics.
