Any good voice alteration software out there?
I'm working on a project where I'm going to need to read a bunch of stuff that will play along with video, and I can't abide my own voice, and I'm gonna have to listen to it a lot durring editing.

Plus I'd just prefer a little alteration anyway. So is there a software program out there (or can someone recommend some alterations that I can do in Cool Edit Pro or Acid) that will alter my voice to make it sound not like my voice, but also not just like the pitch or tone has been changed obviously, and also not like a robot.

Not sure if that makes sense...

1. you can transpose your voice +/- several octaves in acid..
don't know about altering your voice though. I mean, there are some vocoders available for Sound Forge, but I don't think you want to sound like a robot!

I'll play around with ACID a bit more and see what I can figure out.

Thanks again!

4. Cool!
Which edition would be best for somewhat simple needs? Diamond runs $100, which is too pricey for me right now. Regular is $30.

Thanks for the tip!
