I wanted to be a veterinarian. I'm not, but I wish I went that route.

I want to be a musician if and when I grow up. My biggest ambition is to play the lounge at the local Holiday Inn.

5. A fine artist
I wanted my own studio where I could waste my days painting magnificent pictures. Gave no thought to how I would make a living though. ;-)

Part of me still wants that dream. Maybe someday when my kids are grown up and I'm old.

But then I realized just how boring computer programming/engineering would be, in addition to the part where, although the starting salary is high, it tops off rather quickly.

I had a chalkboard, and old teacher edition of English and Math books. I would dress up in my mom's clothes and heels. Ah! Those were the days!

29. Race car driver (sport cars and road races like LeMans)
Edited on Wed May-18-05 02:39 PM by CottonBear
I learned to drive stick shift in my Dad's Porsche. We went to lots of Porsche club rallies and sports car races. I'm a bit of a thrill seeker. I got to meet Danny Ongais (raced Porsches for Ted Field racing) and Ted Field (Heir to the Marshall-Field Department Store fortune and owner of Ted Field Racing.)

Jacky Ickx (Belgium, "Mr. LeMans") is my all-time favourite driver. His daughter, Vanina, is a famous driver in Europe.

But as I grew I learned what America really needs is someone to police the police and investigate the FBI.
Roles have reversed, and the worst criminals are the ones with the most power to abuse.
