Led Zeppelin would be NOTHING without John Bonham. NOTHING.
You could take the master tapes of all of Zep's albums, erase every instrument but the drums, and they'd STILL be some of the most righteous, fire-breathin' hell-fired rock and roll ever put to wax.

BONHAM WAS ZEPPELIN. The rest of those Britfops was just window dressin'. All this arguing over them ripping off old bluesmen and Bobby Plant's voice is just distracting folderol. The meat of the matter is this: John Bonham was the king of all things.

End of discussion.

Kill me now. I just made an astrology comment.

I share my birthday with Wilson Pickett, Ornette Coleman, and Grover Cleveland. That and five bucks sill won't get me laid, though.

12. It is rumored that
after seeing Bonham play Jimmy Page decided on a different type of music for Zeppelin to play. And the rest is history.
