2. I love Cary Grant's line: " Because I just went gay all of a sudden!"
Amazing that came from a movie made in 1938.

4. Watch It... People Might Think You're Gay...
if you keep talking like that. I like Kate... but I've always been a Cary Grant fan. I love him in "I Was A Male War Bride" and "Arsenic And Old Lace". "But darling... Niagra Falls!" "It does? Well let it!" -- Allen

5. Prefer "The Philadephia Story", for a Grant-Hepburn film, myself...
but "Bringing up Baby" was great, too. "I'll be with you in a minute, Mr. Huxley!"

6. My favorite of their pairing is "Holiday"
A rarely seen gem. Wish it would come out on DVD. Same with "Love Among The Ruins."

11. If it's true that the love impulse
frequently reveals itself in terms of conflict, should we assume that the bickering between Horace Applegate and Aunt Elizabeth is indicative of attraction? Also: Miss Swallow: Frigid stereotype or misunderstood female professional?

You couldn't thaw her out in hell! Yeah, she's over the top, but the whole movie is--that's why it's hee-larious!
