Check Out This Roadside Anti-Bush Sign! (Which DUer Lives In Waldorf, MD?)
Edited on Thu May-19-05 04:27 PM by arwalden
I took these photos today on my way home from Waldorf. This sign on MD-Route 128 gets lots of exposure to traffic. It's just plywood that's been painted yellow with faded Magic-Marker lettering. The person who made it has rigged the numbers so that they can be easily updated. Looks like it's been vandalized at least once.

After snapping these photos, I walked up the driveway to see if anyone was home and to find out if the person who made the sign would let me photograph them next to their sign. But... nobody answered the door.

7. Dunno...
Sometimes she finds other things to do whenever things get a little "tense" around here.

5. Ten bucks says the person has probably been threatened
by all those freedom fry eating Bush bots that drive by and that's why they were hesitant to answer if they were home.

6. I Considered That...
... which is why I was announcing myself as I walked up the driveway.

"Hello? Anyone home?"

"I just wanted to tell you how much I love your sign!"

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

etc etc.

8. I'm shocked it's not full of bullet holes.
But Marylanders are pretty smart usually. If that sign was in my Texas area, I doubt it would have lasted long enough to take a picture. Texans, on average, aren't too politically bright.

9. Wow... I wish they'd been home.
Takes major guts to put a sign up like that one. Good on them!

13. Even if all proved true beyond a reasonable doubt, the Congress, the media
and most of the people wouldn't give a diddledy-damn.
