Rationale for a Friday Afternoon Nap
It's rainy.

It's gloomy.

It is Friday.

I can always work later tonight.

Good enough?

Thought so. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz. Clunk (head hits desk).

1. Wait, you have to rationalize a nap?
Who woulda thunk?

3. I once disrupted a corporate training session
with my head hitting the desk as I zoned out. Broke my glasses. Nasty gash on the forehead. Blood 'n all.

If I remember correctly, it was a Friday afternoon.

Oh and it didn't help that I'd borrowed the boss's car the night before and returned it with a branch through the door.

Word was my nap was a hangover but I know better. It was a bone fide nap.

4. You absolutely need NO rationale for any nap!
If you need one, then you need it! I nearly always feel better after a nice nap! The colors of my surroundings are more vivid, and I can concentrate better also...I started taking them when my kids were babies, and even though they long ago left the nest, I'm still napping! Never give up a really good habit, I say!

:hi:

5. When I was pregnant, I used to nap
every afternoon with my head on the desk at work.

I'd wake up with drool all over the blotter.

8. Hi, BlondieK143! Actually, for me, I feel better...
I've heard my friends say that they feel worse...I don't know why that is true for them. I normally feel much better...It does screw up my bedtime, though...However, I enjoy staying up late since I'm retired now. It no longer matters when I get up, usually!
