Most people don't have much else to say, I suppose...although I will say that Galloway, in addition to giving the committee a good drubbing, managed to show American politics up for the farce it is, and American politicians as the hacks they are. The US (the Democratic Party especially) could stand to take a leaf from the UK political playbook...politics as vicious, no-holds-barred, go-for-the-jugular blood sport, not as a superficially well-mannered colloquy...US politicians are pansies in comparison.

I haven't had TV since Tuesday, so I'm out of the loop.

I was reading somewhere on GD.. or maybe it was GD/Politics last night.. And someone reported that all evidence of Galloway's response to Coleman had been scrubbed (completely removed) from the official government record.

They showed the Government website that listed all of the other speakers and had their statements transcribed in full, but Galloway's was nowhere to be found. Absolutely zero documentation..

According to the site they showed, Galloway was even removed from the list of those scheduled to speak.

I didn't save the post so I don't have the site they showed that reported yesterday's events (minus Galloway)... but if it's true.. manNNnnn.. it just gets scarier every day.. :scared:

Based on a book about a working-class Socialist who becomes PM of Britain on a platform of total nuclear disarmament and radical social reform... the first thing he does in office is kick the US military out of England.

Talk about scary and prophetic... it's impossible to determine who is worse: the US/CIA spooks, or his own domestic adversaries.

It's a great renter if you have a good video store near you.
