3. The critical question is: are you obsessed and lacking bacon?
or obsessed and eating bacon? or perhaps, obsessed and sketching pictures of bacon?

28. Sick joke to go with the sick picture...
A traveling salesman stopped by a farm house and the kindly family took him in for the evening. Eventually he noticed that there was a two legged pig wandering around the farmhouse on little crutches. His curiosity got the better of him and he asked about the ailing pig.
"Oh," said the farmer, "that's our pig Duke. He's just like family. The farmhouse caught fire not too long ago and Duke broke through the door and knocked the receiver off the phone and dialed 911 with his snout. It was the middle of the night and he saved all of our lives!"
The salesman was really impressed and said, "So Duke must have lost his legs during the fire?"
"Nope," said the farmer. "But we're not gonna eat him all at once. He's just like family."

14. Baconbaconbacon
It's.. BACON!

Maybe I just buy the wrong brand, but bacon doesn't seem like it gets as crispy as it used to. Anyone else notice that?

17. Check the label for the horrifying phrase "water added"
That's your culprit.

Change brands to one that doesn't have it.

18. That's because it's not as fatty as it used to be.
Damn Health Nazis! There's very little in this world tastier than an egg fried in bacon fat (with the original bacon on the side, of course), but it gives you chest pains just to think about it, doesn't it?

Nothing's any fun anymore. Well, I guess I'll just go smoke an Ultra Light cig, and drink a Low-Carb beer.

25. You need a shallow pan...
deep pans keep in the moisture and the bacon tends to "boil" more than fry.

Set on medium or medium low and leave it while you do your chores. Once it browns, flip it, and forget it again for a while.

Granny does it best!

29. somehow this seems to follow ---
my s-i-l borrowed (stole) the idea from some fancy schmancy German restaurant. It's a variation on the the old rumaki thing--small pitted prunes wrapped with bacon and broiled. Sounds kind of weird but very tasty.
Not addictive for the best of reasons.
