Parting is such sweet sorrow. (Kitty pics.)
Two of the feral kittens we took in last month left for their new home today. It was hard letting them go. It’s amazing who attached you can get to them is such a short time.

Abby and Red

We will be keeping two of them.

Schubert and Sullivan

This is them last month when we found them.

5. Ya did good getting them strong and off to good homes.
Blessings on your house from those of us who know the power of purr.

Hey, I used to be a 'way station' for kitties down on their luck. As it happens, my daughter works with a woman who adopted one of the strays I took in like, 15 years ago. Woman had just lost a long time fur pal due to old age. She was broken hearted. The stray she took was one I would have kept but for the dissent of my two felines. It was a very special cat, of all the strays I have helped on to good homes, it was really something special.

Anyway, the woman asked my daughter if she remembered her from long ago. Talked about how she adopted the sweet little stray cat from us years ago. She told my daughter how wonderful the cat was and how very special their relationship is. Cat still alive and well, bringing love everyday to the nice woman who took her home.

May you be blessed some day, as we were, with news of the happy life we helped along with such a simple kindness of caring for a cat and helping find the right person for it.

Sweet sorrow will turn to sweet memories and the knowledge you did a good turn for the sake of doing the right thing.

peace,
hm

6. I found two kittens JUST LIKE THAT!
Poor little orphans, one light orange, one darker. Both female, abandoned at birth - they had to be bottle fed. I ended up keeping them. This was a couple of years ago. Here they are today:
