A silly Rant about "when I dye my pants"

Christ..I can Dye a pair of pants and for 6 months, every time I wash them, Tons of dye comes out all over the place. (Yes ..I learned to separate colors)..YET..if I get one atom of Dye on a white shirt...6 years down the road the spot is still just as bright as the first second when it was accidentally put on.

If anybody ever builds a Perpetual Motion Machine or breaks a few laws of Physics, I know Damn well it will have something to do with: Amount of Dye Out = 12X amount of Dye In. :)

The shirt that you want to dye blue will never get the full blue that the dye says it will and that you want, no matter how much you try or how much you soak it, even if you leave it for days. Then, after the first washing, it will go down 6 shades of hue.

The shirt that you were wearing when you dyed the other shirt, and the carpet you were near? The accidental dye stains on those will be exactly the shade of blue you were going for, probably, in fact, darker, and will remain there in perpetuity, even if you wash it every day.
