you guys who can draw and paint; if there's something undesirable in your subject, you can just leave it out.

We, on the other hand, have to spend hours in Photoshop getting rid of the damned electrical wires or acne.

The life studies are magnificent
The later ones are okay, just not my cup of tea. I like really well-done realistic art, like yours. It has much more visual interest for me than the more fantastic drawings. Bravo! :applause:

78. Do they offer a Masters in Illustration?
I got my BFA at the Columbus College of Art and Design, but they don't offer anything but a fine art Master's. A former student of mine is getting his Masters in Illustration at Syracuse of all places-and he LOVES their program!

done for some of Oscar Wilde's works in the late 1800's, Salome specifically... I have to get to bed, but will check in tomorrow and give you a link, lovely illustrations that i immediatly thought of when I saw your last pic...

and what mediums did you use in the last three? Rabbit, wierdness picture, and the satyr? if I am correct in identifying those.

I am a RISD grad, myself. I think you have a great deal more patience for detail than I do.

I have had 3 pieces published in some pieces for some financial corporations but want to get into book/editorial work full time


Satyr is pen& ink and digital as is the white rabbit. The weird one is pen&ink and colored pencil

Colored pencil is a wonderful medium, though.

Are you building up a good portfolio? You have some nice variety already.

80. Yes fantastic! I got your message but couldn't see the pictures.
I especially like your watercolor portraits, tho that may just be me.

The illustrations and drawings are suburb to. Have you every thought of posting in the Artist Group here on DU.

We could use the traffic.
