I checked to see what in the world THAT could be? Well, there are two kinds or re-virginity.

One is just like the re-born Christian, who was a serious sinner, who had sex in their past life, but has reformed and all is forgiven.

The secoond one blew my mind! There are surgeries to restore the hymen! I have no idea if any of these folks who've had that operation admit to their prior activities. But the statements were that there are a lot of religious reasons for have thins done.

Well, smack me, and call me silly! Here I was thinking virginity was something you either had or ya didn't!

I think there's even a specific amount of time you have to be abstinent for the declaration of re-virginity.

Sort of reminds me of the Catholic annulment: Ten years of marriage and two kids? It Never Happened because we said so!

I attended 12 years of a Catholic school, and I was taught that the only way you could get an annulment was if the marriage was never consumated!

In areas where a bride can be killed for being found not to be a virgin on her wedding night. As a result, this sort of surgery is in demand. How I read it in the book, it is a temporary measure that has to be done a few days before the marriage deflowering. It isn't something that would last for years.
