and that they were such a unique band was for the simple fact that they had Freddy Mercury. No one will ever be able to replace him and its not Queen without him. They should just change the name of the band in honor of his memory.

They aren't a band who can just find a clone to replace FM and continue on like nothing happened, AC/DC-Style.....

They are some pretty BRILLIANT guys, and they chose Paul Rodgers for their own reasons. They must think he brings something valuable to the table, something they feel will add to their strengths as a GROUP.

I'm gonna give them 10 or 15 years before I pass judgement. If they don't impress me by 2020 or so, then fuck 'em!

(edit; P.S.: If this turns out to be an embarassing musical debacle, I call dibs on the headline: "They Rodgered the Queen"!)

5. I agree on the talent, and Paul Rodgers has a strong and great voice

I guess I would have just called it another name. Like "princess" or some parody name or phrase, maybe a spin on Mercury.
