I get to see my family in 5 days!

A year and a half ago, I moved to Indiana to live with my SO. I call him my husband and he calls me his wifey, but we haven't gone through all the legalities yet. :P.

Since then, I have only seen my family once! Last August, my aunt and uncle paid for me to fly out for my cousin's wedding. I only got to spend a couple days with my mom, and my SO had to stay behind.

When my SO got his tax return, I was really depressed. One of my cousins had passed away and I wasn't able to see my family or go to the funeral. Losing one of my family members made me so homesick it was unbelievable. So, my SO decided he was going to buy us 2 plane tickets to go see my family! A) as an early bday present to me, B) to help me get over my depression, C) so he could meet my family, and D) he has never been to Washington!

So, we are flying out this Saturday and will be gone for 5 days. I will get to see everyone that I want to see, a few people I wouldn't mind seeing, and of course, a couple people I would rather NOT see. Lol. I am so excited!

We are taking our digital camera and of course we will take a TON of pictures. We are gonna stay in my old bedroom at my mom's house. (I sure hope she boxed up all of my embarrassing teenage stuff!) She is going to make a big belated birthday dinner the day after I fly in, and that's when I wil see everyone on her side of the family. Then the day after that, my stepdad will pick us up and drive us out to eat something, and then visit my dads side of the family (my birthdads side- my gramma adopted my stepdad as her own, since my birthdad died before I was born and my stepdad stepped in and took over the job of raising me.) After that, who knows? My brother said a couple of my highschool friends will probably show up to say hi.

Mom is going to take me shopping at ROSS, since, unfortunately, there is no ROSS in Indiana. :(.

All in all we are looking forward to a busy and fun trip! Like I said, I'm so friggin excited! I miss my mommy! :7

because my daughter's name is Ariana! I feel a particular closeness to anyone with the name, since it is so uncommon.

I sure do love it! I considered at one point changing my name legally to Ariana Celeste, but decided that my name isn't that bad after all, lol. If someday I have a daughter, though, that will most likely be what I name her.
