Finally, a chance to get payback for all those years that I was good and didn't do such things!

4. Go ahead!
As long as you don't care if they ever let you back in their house again!

J/K...it's probably OK as long as large messes aren't created or things broken...lol...You could always ask them if it would be OK, but maybe you wouldn't find it easy to do such a thing...

It's up to you, really...

5. Sure, go ahead, throw a party
I'd encourage you to do it. And the bigger and messier, the better. I have such fond memories of watching cigarettes burn themselves out on top of my parents' new TV set, of classmates shoveling snow to cover up the miles of puke in the back yard, of the screams and tears of drunken and stoned classmates in various stages of undress running through the house.

Yes, do it. Throw that damn party and make sure it's wild enough to erase the memory of all those good years.

But, keep in mind that your parents will know. In any number of ways, they'll find out - all without snooping.

And then, one day in the far, far, far distant future, you will be a parent. Your parents will come to visit you and your spouse and your babies, and they will extract their revenge upon you.

They will do it through your children, and you will be unable to stop them or to change anything that they do.

That is the power of grandparents. That is when you'll realize that all those 'good' years meant nothing, that they waited all that time to get even with you, and then you will understand what it means, that old adage you always heard but to which you never paid much attention: Revenge is a dish best eaten cold.

Happy party ............................

10. No don't. You never know what will happen and you and your parents
will be held responsible, especially if someone has an accident on the way home and were drinking. The party lasts one night and you'll have the rest of your life to live with any repercussions. It isn't worth it! Go have a hell-of-a party at someone else's house.

15. NO matter how good you conceal it, they will find out
Guaranteed.
I hope it isn't from reading a petition from the neighbors.

In my case it was a city council resolution stating they would be responsible for any further city expense related to my parties.

But it was SOOOOO worth it. That was the 60's though.

Advice: in advance, go through your house like a junkie looking for stuff to steal. Take everything you find, and lock it up somewhere. Anything important to your parents, move it out and into someplace safe. If you don't have any, get some fire extinguishers.
And finally, hire a maid service to come the next day, and a get a bunch of friends to agree to a clean up squadron that night/morning after the party ends or the cops come.

Oh, and post a lookout for the cops.

Try and stay relatively sober; throwing a successful big ass monster party is actually work.

20. I did it and ......
a band showed up unexpectedly and played in the dining room.

Some guests drank too much and threw up in the back hall. We could tell what they ate for dinner.

Some guests spilled red wine on the beige living room carpet. Stain, stain, stain.

Worst of all, some guests had a car accident on the way home. They missed a curve, and ended up in a farmer's field.

And my parents found out.
