time when I see helium balloons. I had an "incident" after that book and I will be forever creeped out by balloons too.

Boniface, as the German equivalent of St. Patrick, was clearly of serious demeanor. You know you are one serious dude if you walk up to the tree that the locals consider holy and chop it down to build a
Christian shrine. Seriously converting the Germans was what Boniface was all about.

Every once in a while we inevitably run across those human-interest type stories in the "media" where they are "reporting" on some poor unfortunate soul who has left the material world behind to go to Clown University. I always end up wondering to myself "I wonder what could have gone so wrong in their life that they are compelled to become a CLOWN of all things?!"

The Jesus freaks must think their personal lord and savior is pretty funny, as a quick Yahoo! search brought up the Fellowship of Christian Clowns. Ick...
