which way is he running? back home or to sweeden? can you actually tell from the way it was shot, or has hal hartley explained it? i always thought it was one of those you can't ever tell things, but i think you maybe can if you study the wide shot beforehand. hmmmm. but i always forget to. dammit.

the sequel is shooting this summer in Berlin. Maybe you'll find out? In any case, one of my best friends from college is Hal's assistant, so next time I have a chance, I'll ask the man himself. :-)

i'm excited. i was kind of hoping he accepts the award and lives the poets public life, because the other guy is sooo not into it. it's kinda silly, but i was wondering. thanks for the update.

apparently the script is terrific. parker posey is signed and they're looking for a male "name" but shooting starts this july no matter what. i'm really looking forward to it. i didn't much care for no such thing, and his newest wasn't his best either.

his newest film didn't get distributed. it played for two weeks down at the two boots theater in the east village, and that was about it. you didn't miss a whole lot.

13. I was shutting the computer down and saw this thread so I stopped...
"Trust" is one of my favorite films EVER and the rest of Hal Hartley's films kick ass too. As to your question? Beats the fuck outta me, I'll just have to see the next film!
