yvr girl is doing a happy dance!!

It's a lovely day in yvr land, warm and sunny.

Later today, I will be taking my first dip of the year in this pool.

My life is not perfect, but in THIS moment, I am perfectly happy.

6. Technically, the city holds the papers

It's 5 minutes from my house. It's a salt-water pool, right at the beach. The view of the city and the mountains add to the experience.

It sounds as if you are having a wonderful day! Congratulations! Where is this pool? It looks like it has a beach edge on one side and a pool edge on the other? In the foreground of the pic it looks like sand with footprints? It looks very inviting...

We have a community pool for our townhouse subdivision that is right outside our backdoor, but in the 4 years we've been here, I haven't even stuck a big toe in the water-- even though at times it does look very inviting. I can't bear to tiptoe outside in a bathing suit. Way too scary (for public at large, and me too!)

9. This is Kits Pool in Vancouver

It's a city pool, 5 minutes from my house.

In the foreground you see the level entry. (It's not sand.) It is salt water though.

Between the pool and the ocean is a strip of beach, but you can't see it in this picture.

Vancouver is a beautiful city - in the summer, it's golden.
