43. I was dissappointed in Lost too
they keep promising us some answers and keep handing out more questions instead.

I love questions. They do make you think but occassionally I'd like some answers too. I know they can't solve every mystery but just one would be nice.

Tonight I found myself thinking if Seinfeld was a comedy about nothing than Lost is the drama about nothing because the inhabitant's never seem to accomplish anything but going around in cirles and never figuring anything out.

And here the tv critics, stars, producers etc were promising such a thrilling show tonight and they gave us Nadda! I wasn't even slightly spooked.

51. Maybe it's supposed to be about confusion.
Or about what can happen if you take a left turn instead of a right turn or some sort of crap like that.
Think about it-what would have happened if that clerk at the gate hadn't made the phone call to the pilot at the last minute? He would never have been let on the plane and he wouldn't be in the mess that he is in now. He made a wrong turn.
And there are some things in life that we will never solve. I have the feeling that this will be a part of the show. Some things will never be solved. And trying to solve them will confuse us further.

My head always hurts. Plus I broke a glass in the kitchen today, and I'm afraid of getting glass in my foot. But I'm too lazy to get the vacuum out. And too forgetful to wear shoes. Geez. I could go on and on all night here.

16. I came back from my daughter's elem. school spring concert a while ago...
For background...I live in a very liberal area... the past PTA president still has a Kerry/Edwards sign up on her lawn. Almost the whole PTA was out canvassing for Kerry during the election.

And tonight, parked smack dab in front of the elementary school was a Mercedes Benz SUV with a friggin Swift Boat Vets Against Kerry bumper sticker. :grr: I had to keep my son from going over and trying to pull it off. I hate when I have to be the responsible parent. :eyes:

Then, I come home and my 3 yr old :puke: all over me and him. Blech!!

*sigh*
Tomorrow is another day.

at least I have some good herbal tea I am preparing to soothe my upper GI tract with. Think those spicy ass hot wings my brother cheffed up (my brother is staying with me for a week and he is a damn good cook) were just a lil too hot for this one.

Also, I have to work tommorow. I don't want to have to face another day. it is all too much to bear. :cry:

actually, half of my wok day will probably be answering random phone calls and posting inanity on DU so it won't be too bad. :evilgrin:

I had blood tests yesterday and I see the Dr tomorrow (thursday). My Albumin level is probably all messed up. Not enough protein I guess (?)

65. I got good news and bad news today...
The good news is that I have impressed my bosses so much over the last three years that I am being promoted and getting a substantial pay raise

The bad news is that after living in New England states(RI, CT and MA) for all of my life...the new position is in North Carolina. I have never been to NC, know nothing about NC and they expect me to uproot my family and have this transition done by the end of June.

It has been a bittersweet day for me today

I'm sure you will make the transfer smoothly. It will be hard to leave your family and friends, but you'll make new friends where you go. It will be a time of growth and learning for all of you.
