1. The ones from trader joe's aren't too bad
but I must agree, it is extremely difficult to find good frozen pizza. You may want to try the California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizzas. They're okay too

48. I like the 4-cheese one from Trader Joe's--
The only frozen pizza I've found that doesn't have garlic, which I can't eat, in the sauce--and it's made in Italy. I've always maintained that garlic does not belong in pizza sauce, and I take the fact that this pizza from Italy does not put garlic in the sauce as a validation of my belief. :-)

and I still have a bunch of crap to do at work! :) That looks sooo good.

 on the Cali Pizza Kitchen and Amy's too. There's also a brand called Home Run Inn here in the midwest - made in Chicago, I think, that's pretty darn good. No Trader Joe's in the Twin Cities yet, but that sounds worth trying when they get here in another year or so.

37. In my experience, Tombstones were ONLY to be eaten when you're
thououghly loaded and it's almost closing time. Otherwise, at home, DiGiornos mushroom, garlic and spinach with added mozzarella and some good parmesan. And maybe some black olive and a few anchovies. And more mushrooms. And some good onions. Never pineapple or ham.

Pizza is a lot like sex. When it's good it's incredible. And when it's bad, it's still pretty damn good.

26. DiGiornio!
I started getting these DiGiornio microwave pizzas a few months back and love 'em. You just have to pop it in for five minutes or so and it turns out great. Not like the oven, mind, but still really good.

I have them twice a week for lunch. Quick, filling (but not too much) and speedy enough for work!

32. Yeah. Amy's rocks.
I like frozen pizza just fine--just don't consider it the same food as the "real" thing. Amy's isn't real pizza, either, but it is the best frozen I've had. Tasty, and not greasy. Great crust.

Red Baron and Tombstone may be second and third best, but it's been quite a while since I had those brands.

40. I buy deli made grocery store pizzas
The smaller pizzas are pretty good. The larger pizzas they have are defective in that the cheese on the edges burns before the middle of the pizza is done. I suppose this could be our oven also.
When we were first married, we bought a refrigerated factory made brand called Mama Rosa's. I don't know if the brand is still around. It was good except for the fact that we usually added more cheese because it was a little lean in that area.

Not cheap but really good. They freeze it, send it to your house and then you reheat it.
It's the only way I can get my Chicago Deep Dish Pizza around here. It's a special treat about once a year for my family.

43. Delicious but vicious: Home Run Inn
It's a local brand that started in a pizza joint and branched out into retail. Very tasty in all its incarnations, with a crunchy crust and a lot of sauce, making it my honey's favorite frozen pie.

But I heated one the other night and while I was slicing it, one of my fingertips slipped under the cheese and into the molten hot sauce. For just a second, but it was ungodly, unbearably painful. I howled and pulled my hand away, sending the slices flying and spraying more scalding sauce in every direction. It took a lot of cold water and a whole ice cube to make my finger stop throbbing.
There's one left in the freezer. I told honey he can have it tomorrow night while I'm out. It's tasty, but I'm ascared of it now. :scared:

Spinach mushroom pizza. I'm not sure they make them anymore....I must confess, I always make my own home made pizza's from scratch. Oh, You can freeze the dough....that makes it much more convenient.

I do cheat and use my bread machine....it's really worth it.
