Translation = it's not the pigs fault, it's who feeds him

It basically means, don't blame one person or a system, blame who is behind the scenes pulling the strings



2. Le toco bailar con la mas fea

Translation = he had to dance with the ugliest one

Alot of Argentine sayings have double meanings, like this one.....on the surface it means " he was stuck dancing with the ugliest woman" but what it really means is someone who is given a very tough task or someone facing a difficult problem


3. Dios los cria y ellos se juntan

Translation = God raises them and they find each other

This one refers to people that are alike eventually find each other or people that have the same traits and personality eventually come together


4. No hay mal que dure cien an~os

Translation = There is no curse/bad luck/bad situation that lasts forever

This one is self explanatory
