First Rush, then O'Reilly...now Tucker?
Is the bow-tied twit losing it, like his brethren did? Crossfire today is damned near pathetic. He is a ranting loon, expressing every issue in wild hyperbole and laughing like a madman...when the rest of the room sits silently through his "applause lines."

Sad sad sad.

But damned funny!

1. I agree.
I want to reach through the screen. He's probably just
going through puberty and has 'issues'.

2. How would you feel?
If your professional reputation was totally entwined with Bush's performance? You think it's easy having to do intellectual cartwheels to cover for a buffoon?

It must be more depressing knowing that the effort will need to be redoubled in the coming months.

3. He is definately skating on the edge

I saw him on Russert's show with Al Franken. All he could come up with was pathetic put downs of Al, on the level of a 5th grade schoolyard bully.

He was even interrupting Al with put downs while Al was trying to discuss the Wellstone memorial.

Loser.

4. This administration
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 04:57 PM by jokerman2004
is creating an unavoidable conflict for professional conservative apologists. There are fewer and fewer ways any thinking person can justify being a party to the travesty that is playing out in the White House.

I'll bet Tucker feels like he's getting a wedgie all the time these days! It's stress baby!

This is precisely how zealots act when they are in the process of losing their faith.

HA!

5. It really is pathetic.
I dislike Tucker intensely, but every now and then he does show a glimmer of sensibility. I think he's wising up to the fact that he's hitched his wagon to a loser.

6. Moral dichotomy
Tucker did the interview with candidate Bush for Talk Magazine (I think) in which he was clearly disgusted with Bush, even though he had been handpicked to do a favorable interview. That was the interview where Bush pursed his lips and mocked Karla Faye Tucker's (no relation) execution. After that article, several conservatives criticized Bush. George Will called him a fratboy taking the party for a ride, and reemphasized the word 'boy'.

Now Tucker for partisan reasons has to support a man he clearly once loathed. Ask David Brock what trying to hide your soul for the sake of money and acceptance will do.

7. I was watching Collin Quin last night...
a neo-con, hate-filled show to be sure...and it struck me that these clowns are without a leader these days. They have no idea what to talk about or why...mass confusure. At least leading up to the war they were given talking points...now all they do is grunt and yell. Poor guys.
