Does anyone miss NHL hockey?
I used to be a fan, but Bill f'n Wirtz kinda killed it for me. However, there is nothing more exciting than a NHL playoff game in overtime. Except maybe a real middleweight championship fight.

1. Yes
I make 80% of my income from NHL games.

So...the next time you hear someone say, "It's the fans that suffer the most."...call bullshit on them for me.

3. When Can Wisconsin have an NHL Team?
Edited on Sun May-29-05 03:05 AM by JonathanChance
Why not just move one of the teams that are in a city that has no buisness having an NHL team like Carolina, Nashville, Tampa Bay, or any other team south of the Mason-Dixon line up to Milwaukee or Mad-Town. Hell, Move Dallas to Milwaukee, rename them the NorthStars, watch what would become a fierce Milwaukee/Minnesota rivalry rake in the bucks.

BTW, move Phoenix back to Winnipeg, as well. Whenever I play an HNL 2005 season, that's what I always do.

4. Move any team but the Dallas team to Milwaukee/Madison
I was a North Star fan, moving the Stars to Wisconsin would hurt way too much!

5. Hey, at least it would get the Stars back to a place where

it actually snows in winter. Also, think of the local rivalry. Packers/ViQueens Brewers/Twins Badgers/Gophers Bucks/Twolves And then... Wild/NorthStars would make the sports rivalry complete. I tend to move Dallas to Milwaukee in NHL2005, but those idiots at EA forgot to put a Northstars logo for the custom Jerseys, so The Dallas Stars are now the Milwaukee Millionaires.

6. LOL
Funny thing, I hate Gopher football (Am actually a Badger football fan). As far as the Twins Brewers thing goes, even when they were in the American League, there just was not a whole lot to the rivalry between the Twins and the Brewers, now Detroit and Kansas City (back then) were real rivals...go figure.

I so wish that it was the Twins looking in their rear view mirror at the White Sox right now!
