Watching the French Open, are 80's fashions back in style?

The French player is wearing an Izod shirt and cap (worn backwards with the bill turned up) and the Spaniard, Nadal is wearing a sleeveless "punk" shirt from the early 80's with a "Rico Suave" do-rag and white fitted 3/4 pants.

I think the clay court must be causing a time rift.

1. I would think
that those pants would be a real pain to wear. I remember prefering a skirt (that goes against everything I believe in) to shorts even because it felt so much better when moving.

I am liking Nadal. I wonder if he is going to Wimbeldon, he will have to conform to a dress code there I believe. Remember the flack Tommy Haas got when he wore sleeveless there a few years aog?
