2. I own most of them on DVD or VHS. Seriously.
I just wanted to be able to say "I own the entire Police Academy series." Probably for the same reason that I bought the Vanilla Ice biography at the used bookstore -- because I could, and it's certainly a collection that no one else can lay claim to.

3. when will they come out with a boxed set?
Is it their preduijuice against Steve Guttenberg that keeps them from doing it? Liberal hatred of NRA members like Tackleberry?

5. If I had a framed "Citizens on Patrol" movie poster...
...then my life would be complete. Also, they have a boxed set, but I ain't willin' to pay 45 bucks for it -- a man has to draw the line SOMEWHERE, right?

12. Yeah, it's a shame to pervert the stunning anamorphic directoral vision
of the Police Academy movies. An ex-Afterschool Special guy directed those, right? ;)

14. Each had a different director.
And the director on the original, I might add, was the vaunted and esteemed writer of the classic Burton Reynolds film "Stroker Ace." Perhaps you've heard the magical theme song by Charlie Daniels?

6. Well what the hell else are Bubba Smith & Michael Winslow gonna do?
Think of it as welfare for those guys. Can you imagine where Hooks' (the screaming lady) career has gone?
