took my kid to see Revenge of the Sith today
It was really, really good. Makes me wonder what happened with the two previous films. I didn't really think it was too violent ( maybne for little little kids) - although after it was over, my son described it as "tragic." Also, every time Anakin made a bad decision, my son told me what he should have done! That was pretty interesting. :)

Any other parents have interesting reactions from their kids to this film?

1. My Daughter Indulged Her Dad
And sat through the whole thing. She was a little surprised Yoda was such a stud, but on the whole enjoyed it. But she let me know, in an impish sort of way, she was just sitting through it to be polite to me.

I love that critter.

2. yeah I think a lot of kids
were indulging their parents. One acquaintance of mine actually took his kid to a midmight showing the first night!

3. Midnight Show
Seems like a pretty big indulgence, parent to child. Only trouble is, my 12 year old would make it through better than I would. I'd be sleepin' by the time Annikin beheaded Dooku.

4. How old is your son?
Do you think it's too intense for a 6 year old? I guess I could take him and let him know that we can leave at any time...

6. he's 9
I dunno, there were a lot of younger kids there and his buddy's little sister went and she's 5. She fell asleep, though. I think it would depend on the kid and what he's used to... I didn't hear any screaming or crying.

My kid said it was "tragic", and he had a lot of comments about mistakes that Anakin made. At the same time, he also said that parts were gross ( some are intense, but not overdone, in my view and fit the story) But some elements might be too intense for 5-6-7.

7. thanks Zuni!
it was very, very good. I was pleasantly surprised, and not as "violent" as I had expected.
