1. For how much?
It's not bad - preposterous plot, but reasonably intelligent characters.

3. Yes. Twice. Critics be damned, I like it.
Yes, the plot is preposterous. Yes, it's an enormous stretch. Yes, it's unrealistic.

I don't care. Take it as a comic book adventure and enjoy the ride.

4. It was a DaVinci code rip-off but....
..in general it wasn't a bad movie. If you've read the DaVinci Code, then you'll recognize parts of TDC lifted and used in National Treasure including the Templar Knights and Masonic stuff.

But despite being a TDC rip-off, I thought the movie was enjoyable. DOesn't tax your brain too much and has a nice sense of American History

6. I liked it!
Was predicatble at times (really, what movie isnt), and I thought it had a very good story line. I'd watch it again no questions asked.

If you get it for 99 cents I'd say go for it.

It was just ok in my book.

8. The lead actress...
Edited on Tue May-31-05 12:47 PM by skypilot
...was quite stunning. I didn't dislike the movie, thought it was just OK. I live in Philadelphia so some of the foot-chase scenes that were filmed here were kinda distracting. Characters would run about 10 city blocks in a matter of a couple minutes. Anyway, the lead actress was lovely.

11. Implausible story, cliche, unbelievable, tripe.
I liked it. :D You have to suspend all disbelief, but it was a pretty entertaining film.
