1. That would be me,
I never get to ride, I'm always driving the boat.

You may also ski, wakeboard, or wakeskate.

4. Its a board without bindings. You can use it barefoot or with shoes
About 3 ft. long, a foor and a half wide, tapered, you get the idea.

5. Cool! but
how do you get up on it? Have you seen anyone doing the surfing thing? It is sweet! You ride a regular surfboard about 6 feet behind the boat(must have inboard motor) with no rope!!

6. The wakeskate is similar to the wakeboard in that you need
good upper body strength. But you just have to be able to position yourself so that at first the board is gliding just below the water line until you break up and surf. Start the boat out at an even speed, adjusting for rider weight and experience. The boat only goes about 15-18mph tops. My husband is over 50 and he can do it so I'd say just about anyone can learn. Makes for some fun wipe outs!

We haven't gone into the surfboards but I'm sure they'd all try it!

8. The surfers
are only going about maybe 6-10 mph. They have some kind of rig on the back of the boat to make a wave that will pull you along behind the boat.

9. Thanks,
I'll check it out, I'm due for some new water toys this year. I'm going to have to teach my wife how to take off in the boat without jerking my arms out of their sockets.

11. Practice makes perfect. After years of hauling pre-teens and teens
around all kinds of water, you get a pretty good idea how to get them up. We have a knee board too but hardly anyone uses it now that they're older. What they really want is a tower but wow, we can buy a lot of college classes for the cost of a good one. Even the Mastercraft kids want to use the Rinker for the big wake for tubing and wakeboarding. Its fun but by August, I'm a little tired of driving.

12. Well it's a
boat so anything is going to be pricey. Right now in still into the go fast boats because the kids are still to young to do anything execpt ride in the tube. I'll be changing boats in another couple years when their ready for the really fun stuff.

13. Its good that you wait and will be patient. Nothing ruins the fun for kids
more than an overzealous boat owner of kids too young to try stuff. I've seen some parents both in boats and on the slopes just terrorize kids trying to get them to do things too fast.

On the other hand, some of the boat owners just rock with the stupid stuff they do. Worst early boat story for us was getting stuck on a sandbar and stalling out the motor.
